A Different Take on Religion

Young people are not as religious as their parents and the odds are that if the trend continues, the number of believers will only decrease over time. It is time for those preaching the word of God to adjust their methods and forget about the rigidity that worked well centuries ago. Yitz Grossman has done that for many years, and he is one of the most respected members of the community, despite his rather different take on religion.

Years didn’t change him a bit, and while he still flawlessly performs all the tasks expected from a rabbi, he always finds a way to connect with people of any ages. This is truly an art and not only men of God should be skilled in human interaction, because unless you get to know the person you talk to, it is impossible to convince him or her of anything.

Yitz Grossman is just as active online as he is in the synagogue, which means that the odds of communicating with young people are stacked in his favor. It is not an aggressive approach, so people don’t get the feeling that they are being sold something, which makes them more wiling to listen, hence more receptive to change.
